Beginning back in 2005 on the heels of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita the Galveston business community has been proactively working on improving our preparedness, response and recovery acumen.

Over the past 5-6 years we have worked to gain a better understanding on what steps can be taken to mitigate financial loss and hardships following a catastrophic event.  Each event creates a new set of dilemmas that must be confronted.  However, through our work, and the information contained within this site, our goal is to continue improving on our preparedness for catastrophic events.
